Cross Country Random Acts of Flowers

“Cross Country Random Acts of Flowers” is the undertaking of artist Andrea LaHue. A prolific LA based painter, LaHue started painting giant flowers, “Random Acts,” in her neighborhood, on “transitioning” buildings as the economy started to tank. It quickly evolved as her “Random Acts” were embraced by the local community, and more “Acts” were encouraged. LaHue has been asked to commit her “Random Acts of Flowers” in and on homes, pre-schools, stores and office buildings. At present she paints her flowers on uninhabited “for lease” storefronts all over the country as she roadtrips her way through the US, reminding people during this turbulent time that beauty and growth are imminent. Check back with FORTH on Andrea’s journey and a more in-depth look at her artistic mission.
