ISSUE 4
“Surely to go Forth is to bring these feelings and endeavors to the forefront, to expose literature and art to the masses and make it important once again…or rather remind the world how important it has always been and continues to be. These creative evolutions are the authentic parts of our selves; they are what make us distinctly human. The message from each poet about how literature and the arts can change the social climate is both bold and inspiring to say the least….”
ISSUE 2
“The air’s growing hot again in Southern California, and the political climate is boiling to a degree it hasn’t reached in years. The nation has been screaming for change; we’re at the bottom of the barrel, with nowhere to go but up…generally speaking. What a great time for new ideas! What a great time for a new magazine on the arts… What are we: Nuts?!…”
ISSUE 1
“There is an immense talent pool in Los Angeles, perhaps the largest in the world, and most especially along the western region of this fantastic city. Often, too many talented artists go unnoticed. This is why Forth exists: To create a forum for the unseen, a venue for the community’s artists. We’ll do our best to display the most interesting, merit worthy artists and writers from our area…”
